Christopher Schrader FRGS (25) is a Harvard Student and founder of the 24 Hour Race. At age 15, he organized a 600 km walk across England in memory of a friend who passed away of an Orphan Disease. That journey was the start of a series of expeditions, including becoming the youngest person ever to walk across the Gobi Desert, live with Kazakh Nomads and cycling across Canada to fight Multiple Sclerosis.
Just 24 hours after completing his final IB exam, Chris joined a team of 14 accomplished individuals aiming to walk 1000 miles across the Gobi Desert. Two months later just 4 people completed the challenge - including Chris. In "Journey before Destination", Chris shares the philosophy he developed whilst in the Gobi Desert, to focus on finding a destination worth pursuing that provides purpose and helps you wake up every day with total motivation.
